FOLLI FOLLIE PARTICIPATES IN THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION (OBI) CONFERENCES
Folli Follie participated in a dynamic way in the two conferences on industrial design in Greece, that were organised by the Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) in Athens and Thessaloniki. Entitled “good design = good business”, OBI through its initiative targeted at the education and the encouragement of designers and corporations to use industrial designs. Moreover, both conferences aimed at the overall development and promotion of design in Greece.
Folli Follie has adopted a firm and dynamic policy in terms of registration its industrial designs on a national, European and international level, and therefore participated at the conferences as a successful case study. Emphasising at innovative design and the use of novel materials, Folli Follie since 1997 has been using its designs’ registration as a tool of reputation management and overall success.
Mr. George Koutsolioutsos, CEO, Folli Follie Group, represented Folli Follie at the Athens conference and stated: “Abiding by the legislation and with the aid of OBI we have managed, even in such a challenging industry with such “delicate” products, as jewellery and watches, which face increased chances of copying and falsification, to register our designs and protect our business”. And he continued: “Part of the global success of Folli Follie can be attributed on the timely development of an industrial property conscience, and the consequent use of such as a business growth and reputation tool in a rather competitive global market.”
In Thessaloniki conference Folli Follie was represented by Ms. Vicky Anagnostopoulou, Procurement Director, Folli Follie Group.
